At the beginning of product development, testing is often seen as something that can be “added later.” The pressure to move fast, deliver an MVP, and launch quickly pushes tests to the side. In the short term, this may seem like the right decision. The product goes live faster, costs are lower, and the team feels productive. In the long run, however, this is one of the most common reasons products slow down, become expensive to maintain, and lose their ability to scale.
